I am taking a break from studying to blog ... because blogging is more important :-) No?

Before I get to my eats from today, last night for supper I had tomato soup:

And a tuna sandwich (tuna mixed with T of light mayo):

I did some homework last night, then took a break to go to "Couple's Retreat" with the hubby. It was mediocre at best.

This morning I got up early and made some lovely oats:

Topped with pomegranate arils, 1 tsp mini chocolate chips, organic unsweetened coconut, and 4 drops vanilla liquid stevia:

Then I got started on my day full of homework.

The only thing that kept me going was some of this sweet love:

While I slaved away on my homework, the hubby made lunch. He made some spelt pasta with a red pepper tomato sauce, and topped with with some Irish Stout Cheddar:

He accidentally dumped too much sauce on it, so it was REALLY saucy! I also had some leftover tuna from last night (for protein):

For dinner tonight we went to the hubby's parents house. They made "Fuddrucker" burgers and wedge fries, with ingredients they brought back from the Fuddruckers restaurant in Saskatoon.

This is my portion:

I had a little bit of thousand island dressing, a tiny bit of cheese sauce, fried onions, and 1 slice of bacon on my burger.

To drink I had a glass of crystal light ice tea:

My dessert tonight was one bite of the hubby's strawberry shortcake, and this lovely orange:

I am heading back to my bed to study (I know, I know, you should never study in your bed ...)

Tomorrow I have the LAST FINAL EXAM of my BA Honours Degree!!!!

The only thing I will have to worry about school wise after tomorrow, is writing the rest of my honours thesis (about 20 more pages).

Are you in school? Are you done? Do you have plans to go?

I used to love school ... but after 10 years of post-secondary education, a girl needs a break!

10 years?? WOWZA! I am in my last year of my undergraduate degree right now and I really, really cannot wait to be done! I'm pretty sure I will be getting a Graduate degree eventually, but for now I'm just ready to be DONE with school for a few years!

Sounds like a great day of meals! I did homework today too and it was pretty crappy!

I am in school getting my MBA and though I am halfway done, I've had enough! I have lost my drive for it, but hopefully can get back into it soon!

Congrats on your accomplishments and good luck on your test!

That tuna mayo sandwich looks divine, I've really missed it this last meat free week.
Fingers crossed for your exam you brain box ;-)
I'm not in school anymore and am glad it's over, although I wouldn't mind doing some evening classes in I.T. or something similar. I love my job but it doesn't hurt to have other options.

The pasta dish your husband made looks great! I thankfully just finished my master's degree in June and am sooo happy to be out of school! I'm not sure what the future holds yet, but for now I'm enjoying working and not studying :)

Woohoo!!! Last exam :D And 10 years - that's crazy! I definitely don't think I could last this long... I feel pretty lucky because in 5 years I will have managed to get 3 degrees. If I can write my research paper over the summer, this should be my last year of school :)

Wow congrats! That is a big accomplishment! I got my undergrad degrees completed in May, but I haven't decided if I want to continue my education or not.

Good luck on the exam!
