Nutty Banana Oats

Good morning lovelies :-) Again I had to drag myself out of bed this morning ... I am not really a morning person at all ... so husband knows not to talk to me in the morning (not that I will be grouchy, but more because I can't understand a word he is saying because I am still half asleep). I wish I was one of those people who could hop out of bed at 6 am, and be awake and ready for the day. But I'm not - so oh well!

For breakfast this morning I made oats topped with banana and almond butter:

Now I am off to work - a little scared to go outside though, because I can feel the chill in the house. Hmmm ... is fall on its way?

What is your favorite season? I like fall because of the leaves and the beauty of it, but I like spring better because it is beautiful and followed by even more awesomeness.

I love how you've arranged your breakfast bowl. My favourite season is Winter, but only when it snows (which we're getting less of in the UK now) I just love watching the snow fall and how the landscape looks covered in a thick blanket of snow. Autumn (fall) hasn't arrived here yet, we're still enjoying some warm sunny days.

I love fall and spring, although I'm not ready for fall yet because the summer was too short!

Thanks for posting on my blog and yes, I would say the closest thing to bulgar wheat is quinoa - they're very similar in size, texture and taste. Tabouli is served cold so the main taste is from the lemon and mint that really add to it - you should try it, it's pretty good!
