Days Before a Vacation

Eat foods that help you fight that cold that you feel coming on near vacation time.

Oats loaded with chia seeds

6 small tomatoes, 2 cloves garlic, 2 T balsamic

Tea helps too.

Eat up things in the fridge that will go bad while you're gone (like goat cheese).

Penne, goat cheese, garlic, tomatoes, spices
Haul the suitcases out and think about packing them ...

Make a list of all the Pinkberry locations in the vacation spot
(and some other places you want to try).

This is normal, right?

Things left to do:

- Clean house so it is nice for us to come home to.
- Give keys to mother-in-law who will be house sitting.
- Pack.
- Not get sick.

What are some things that you do days before your vacation?
Do you plan ahead or do everything the night before you leave?

Pinkberry's on my list for San Fran! I had it once in LA and it was SO GOOD. I've been trying to eat up everything that will go bad too... that's probably the worst part of a vacation. The best part is all of the new foods I will be shipping back to myself when I'm down there, haha. Trader Joe's doesn't stand a chance!

Oh there are so many better yogurt places than Pinkberry! I think it's the most expensive and most overrated, but I do LOVE that you made yourself a list!!!

I've heard only mediocre things about Pinkberry, I'll be honest. Butttt you may feel otherwise, and I have yet to go (though I feel like I've been to every other fro yo place on the planet ha)

I definitely make lists and check them repeatedly to help ease anxiety!

Great tips...(well except maybe the Pinkberry...I'm not a fan). And the goat cheese-tomato penne looks SO good!

I try to plan things out & get organized the week before my trip. I print off itineraries/flight plans/other things I won't have access to like maps or directions, etc. I have a packing list, too, otherwise I feel like I will forget something.

I love that you have all the Pinkberry locations wrote down! Too fun! Can't wait to hear all about your trip. Have a fabulous time!
