Last Week's Eats

Although the sky is still smokey due to forest fires up north, we've had some relief, and have spent some time outside.  The other day we cooked some crab legs on the BBQ - yum!  We had them with Greek salad, which we're pretty much addicted to.

On Friday we felt like an evening out on the town.  We sat on a rooftop patio for a casual dinner out, then hit up another venue before making it home to the couch and our shows.

We had some meals inside this past week too, like this pizza:

The Clear Creek Organics salami from Dad's Organic Market that was so good on it.  We loved the salami so much, and it was on sale, so we bought another few packs of it.  Also on the pizza was a bit of onion, lots of mushrooms, a bunch of green olives, and three kinds of cheese.  We'll be replicating this pizza again very soon.

When Christopher came home for lunch on Friday, I had made him a pork, mushroom udon noodle dish

It was a very satisfying lunch.

It was a great week of eating, and we've been having a pretty delicious weekend so far too - more on that in the next post!

How was your weekend?
Did you celebrate for the 4th?  If so, what did you do?
Is it smokey where you are?

Yum, all of that food looks so good, especially that lunch! Christopher is a lucky guy to get to come home to that!

That smoke is impacting our area as well so it was a hazy weekend. We celebrated the 4th of July at my parents lake home and had a great time. We spent a lot of time on and in the water and ate way too much as usual!
