Yep ... I went there.
These are so easy that it would be a crime not to make them.
Mini Bacon Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Icing
(Also known as ahhhhh hell yeaaaah)
(Adapted from this recipe)
Rolls:
1 tube of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Cinnamon
Brown Sugar
Crisp Bacon
Take the dough out of the tube and make it into a ball. Roll the dough out and cover it with cinnamon, brown sugar and crisp bacon. Roll the dough and slice into 12 equal pieces. Place into greased muffin tin and bake @ 375 for 12 minutes. Let cool for a couple minutes then pop out of the pan with a spoon.
Maple Icing:
1 T milk (I used Vanilla Almond Breeze)
1 tsp real maple syrup
3/4 cup icing sugar
Whisk together and pour over warm rolls.
I only used a couple slices of this bacon and then devoured the rest. Yes, I like my bacon almost burnt. |
Get in mahhh belly!
What are you waiting for? MAKE THESE!

I can only imagine what a hit these must be with bacon lovers!
Ummmmm yum! That recipe is so simple that I could make it. I would have never guessed that you didn't knead the bread while slaving away in your kitchen. Nice work Jolene. And I too love my bacon extra crispy.
And then my stomach said... it's just a little bit of bacon, we won't tell anyone! he he This looks so good, I think I will have to make them, (forgive me piglet)
OMFG!!!!! jolene!!!! That looks magnificent!!!!! I love bacon-infused food! Aaaah!
Holy yum! I should tell my mom about these! She made cupcakes for my brother-in-law with bacon in them... she'd love this recipe!
OMG these look fantastic! I need to make these!
Yes I LOVE cooking with bacon! A friend made bacon brownies that I enjoyed before going gluten-free and your rolls remind me of that sweet & bacony goodness. I save bacon fat to smear over roast chicken.
