Recent Eats

Last week we made my grandma's recipe for homemade perogies (I deleted all the photos, so will do a recipe post after we make them next time).  With the last bit of dough and filling we made a gargantuan perogy, the size of a dinner plate. 



It was awesome.



We topped it with sour cream, bacon, fried onions, and sriracha.

We must be on a comfort food kick because we also had bee bim bop recently.



I cannot get sick of bee bim bop.

Breakfast on the weekend was sandwiches with toasted homemade bread, egg, kale, tomato, mayo and mustard ... topped with jalapeno hot sauce for good measure!

Wow, that perogy looks amazing! My boyfriend would be all over that meal as he loves perogies!

Lately I have been eating a lot of fruit, especially watermelon. But this week I have been binge eating cherries. Yum. Besides that I have been eating a lot of soup/chili which is weird for this time of year but it's such an easy leftover meal to bring to work!
