Mid-Year Review

Yesterday was the middle day of the year, so today is the beginning of the second half of 2014.  So far this year we've eaten some incredible meals, traveled to Denver and Mexico, and gone on many little road trips.  The Screaming Daisies recorded their second album, which will be out soon, and I got to be a Super Streeter and judge on Pizza Wars: Regina, airing in September.

We have so many exciting things coming up in the second half of this year including:

- Two friends' weddings
- The birth of a new little family member - a niece!
- Dinner parties/BBQs and gatherings with friends
- Many road trips
- A trip to Montreal
- A trip to Denver
- A huge music festival in Calgary (Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Death Cab etc. etc.)
- The 30th birthday of the man I love, which will be spent seeing Bonobo in concert (in Denver); as well as some BIG birthdays for Christopher's parents
- Canned Heat in concert
- Arch Enemy in concert
- The Black Keys in concert
- A trip to Vegas

Wow - so much to look forward to, and we are so excited!! (especially for that little baby)!!

How has the first half of your year been?
What do you have to look forward to this year?

Wow, you have had a great first half of the year and you have lots of great things to look forward to in the 2nd half of the year! And how exciting that you'll be an aunt again! Yea!

The first half of the year was kind of a rollercoaster for me, but of course it ended well since I got to move back home. I don't have as much planned for the 2nd half of the year. I think I got a little burned out from all the traveling I did when I was in Charlotte so this year will be more about laying low and appreciating what is close around me here in Minneapolis. That said, I'm super excited for my girls trip to San Francisco in September!
