Denver Biscuit Company

When we saw Denver Biscuit Company on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, we knew we had to eat there.  It's also been featured on Unique Eats, among other shows.  This place is out-of-this-world good!

We had a full day of eating planned, so we decided to share one biscuit sandwich (with fried chicken and bacon), smothered in sausage gravy, along with some cheesey grits.

The server asked if we'd like to start with a cinnamon bun ... it's a good thing we said no, because the things are gargantuan!

The grits were the best we've ever had.  Soooo cheesey, so flavourful - perfect in every way.

The biscuit just made us crave more biscuit #foodie problems.

If we ever go back to Denver, this place just might be our first stop.

Have you ever had biscuits with sausage gravy?
Have you been do Denver?

I have not had biscuits with sausage gravy, but they look delish. Have not been to Denver, except for the airport. It's on my list of places to visit, though.

I always want to try the restaurants I see on the shows!

We have a great southern place in my neighborhood called Jacob's Pickles. I always get the fried chicken mushroom gravy smothered biscuit sandwich there which comes with cheese grits that are the best I've ever had outside the south! If you stay on the UWS again next time you're in NYC you should try it. I'd love to hear how it stacks up to this place in Denver.

Yum, that place looks awesome. I have been to Denver for work a couple of times but have never had much time to explore it unfortunately.

That biscuit looks amazing! Yum! I rarely encounter GF biscuits so I haven't had one in YEARS.
