I didn't know what to have for lunch yesterday, so I tried to use up some of the food in our fridge. I roasted some red/green/and orange peppers and then heated up some brown rice, mixed beans, and terriyaki sauce and mixed it all together. It was satisfying and delicious.




For dinner husband and I went out to celebrate my new position at work. I didn't bring my camera because it is too big (I am buying a smaller one that I can carry with me). We went to a restaurant called "The Free House." Husband and I shared a small spinach salad (spinach, carrot, almonds, Brie, and a mango pineapple dressing). It was excellent. For my meal I had a small super thin crust pizza with chicken, mandarin orange, and BBQ sauce. It was really good too, and I ate everything except the crust. I am NOT a crust lover. To drink I had the worst Mojito I have ever had.

Later in the evening we went to a friends for a game night :-) I had a couple of beer and stayed up way too late. That means that I slept in today ... so you won't see a breakfast post - it is lunch time. Uggghh ... what a waste of a morning!

Do you like sleeping in? Or do you feel like you waste 1/2 your day?

I have never been able to sleep in and that can be annoying--but in reality, I am glad that I cannot sleep in because I am up and ready for the day! I feel like I would be so thrown off if I slept past 10am.

Yummy eats! Congratz on the new position @ work! I love sleeping in..but my body never does! :)
