A Celebration with Family

When Christopher's parents got notice of our elopement in the mail, they immediately sent the sweetest message of congratulations to us, welcoming me to the family, and telling us how happy they were; it really meant a lot to us.  They had us over to celebrate a while back, and last night they took us and the rest of the family out for a really nice celebration to fancy restaurant in town, The Diplomat.  We feel spoiled!

They treated us to a fantastic dinner.

Christopher ordered the steak tartar, which was prepared table-side.

We both had caesar salad to start.

I ordered the salmon with horseradish, whiskey sauce.  It was perfectly cooked, and very fresh.

For dessert we shared strawberries peppercorn, which was also prepared table-side.

Our server Dimitrios was wonderful, and we had such a great evening with our family, the funniest group of people you could ever meet.

How was your weekend?  What did you do?

Looks pretty awesome. Strawberries peppercorn - yum!

I had a fantastic weekend. Yoga workshop, long walk, and I am loving the weather.

That's great that you got to celebrate your marriage with family - that meal sounds awesome!

I had a great weekend. It was pretty low key which was just what I needed but I also got a lot done!
