Weekend Re-Cap & Friends' Wedding!

On Friday afternoon, Christopher and I headed down to The Lobby for lunch.  We started with falafel, and then I had the veggie pizza, and he had the veggie burger.  I looooooved the pizza!

This meal held us over throughout the rest of the day, and into the early evening during the wedding rehearsal.  After the rehearsal, we enjoyed snacks and BBQ at the bride's parents' home.

On Saturday morning we were up early to make breakfast.  Our pal Jesse came over for breakfast, and then he and Christopher suited up, and I drove them to meet up with the groom.

Donny and Edith's wedding ceremony was so sweet.  I love to watch the groom's reaction as he sees his bride for the first time.

She looked so elegant, and her dress was gorgeous!

After the ceremony Christopher went to take pictures with the rest of the wedding party, and I went to Cheers with Victoria and William.  We shared some snacks.

The reception was held at the Hungarian Club, and the food was out-of-control good

We had such a fun evening mingling with friends and dancing.  The happy newlyweds spent plenty of time on the dance floor.

It was a beautiful wedding, and we are so happy for Edith & Donny.

We slept in today, but headed to Edith's parents' home in the afternoon for the gift opening, and some more incredible food.

The homemade bread was the largest loaf of bread I think I've ever seen, and it was some of the best I've ever eaten.  It was great served with the gulyas soup.

Congratulations Donny & Edith!

How was your weekend?  What did you do?

Whoa, that is a huge loaf of bread! Sounds like a weekend of good eats! It seems like wedding food is so rarely good so it's good to hear that was the case at your friends' wedding. I love the look on the groom's face, too!

My weekend was great - lots of family time which is always a good thing!
