It was pretty good, but not the best I've had. Dinner was followed by a fun night out at Noise Fest, a first-annual music event in the city.
2) Breakfast recently was a toasted tomato sandwich for me ... and toast for the boy (almond butter with tomato doesn't go together, but he thinks it does):
3) We realized last week that it had been a while since we had Korean food. Eeeeeeep! We made tteokbokki and bee bim bop immediately.
4) I'm so happy it's nice enough to BBQ regularly! We threw a chicken on the grill the other day. On the side, we had zucchini and potatoes.
5) I am hooked on Christopher's fabulous, homemade French fries. Hooked.
He likes making me snacks. That's A-Okay with me!!
I also love Swiss Chalet's fries, but that's another story.
Ummm, and their chicken. Hellllllo!!
And let's not get me started on the sauce. I won't stop.
What are your five on Friday? What are you up to this weekend?

Yum. Chris's fries look Ahhh-mazing. Yum. Have you done a post detailing his process? If not, could you? The home made fries I have had often taste kind of mushy but his look nice and crisp.
My Friday 5 are:
1. I have been reading a ton because there is little else for me to do now that my life's possessions are boxed and in route to mn.
2. When I say a lot, I mean I am on my 8th book of the month.
3. I have used moving stress as justification for eating dessert more than I usually would/should.
4. My mom flies in at 11 tonight and Iam SO excited to start our road trip!
5. I get back to Mn on Monday and until I get there I don't think it will hit me that my time in Charlotte is over!!
Enjoy your weekend. I will spend mine driving lots!! :)
@Lisa - I haven't done a post about his process yet, but I will next time he makes them :-)
