Family dinners at Christopher's parent's home are always a delicious, and entertaining time! Saturday was no exception.
Along with some crackers and spreads, we enjoyed two tasty appetizers - one was cream cheese ball thingys, and the other was breaded shrimp.
The main course included shrimp pasta, and a chicken stirfry. Wow!
Dessert was incredible. It had ice cream, boozey fruit, shaved almonds, and I don't even know what else ... I'm not usually a dessert person but I ate every. single. bite.
We stayed up late visiting and laughing. I love family dinners! Highlight of the weekend for sure!

That sounds like so much fun! And yum - the food looks SO good. I can see why Christopher is such a foodie; it is clearly in his roots.

It's a toss up for me between the wine festival Saturday and the many hours of alone time spent relaxing on Sunday. Both were great in their own ways!
Oh...just got a longing for family dinner! Though that dinner is a lot more varied and interesting than our family ones tend to be...ha ha. It's awesome that you get along with them and had a good time! :)
