What I ate Wednesday

It had been a while since I had a green monster for breakfast.  This morning I blended one up with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, chia seeds, banana, spinach and almond butter.  Mmmmm!

Lunch was some of the spaghetti and meat sauce that I made yesterday.

This evening I met up with my sister for dinner at Orange.

We shared some adegashi tofu, and each ordered the bulgogi sandwich.

We both left some sandwich and fries on our plate - the serving was huge!

There is a Bernard Callebaut chocolate shop in the same strip mall as the restaurant, so I had to buy a few chocolates.  I picked out 2 of my favourites, and 2 new ones.

My all-time favourite is the strawberry one, which is bizarre, because I normally hate fruit filled things.

This chocolate is different.  It is crisp on the outside, but smooth on the inside.  The filling is mild and fresh.  It is hard to describe the taste - you just have to try it!

I also love "The Bernard"

Simple is good.

I'm thinking I'll have a grapefruit before bed ...

What did you eat today?  What is your favourite chocolate?

Yesterday I had a really random breakfast of leftover potato soup. I eat dinner for breakfast sometimes... Lunch was leftover cajun chicken pasta and I treated myself to some popcorn in the afternoon. Then for dinner I had leftover taco chili and a few too many handfuls of frozen chocolate chips for dessert. Oops. Good thing that bag is almost gone!!

I am not usually a fruit filled chocolate person, but that one does sound good and I would definitely try it!

I really love Lindt chocolates but I'm not too picky about my chocolate - if it's chocolate anything, you can almost bet I'll eat it!

I really love good, plain milk chocolate. But I also like sea salted chocolate and anything with caramel :)

I've been eating green monsters on a daily basis! My roommate has a vitamix, so.... :) Orange Cafe is awesome, it's one of the few places in Regina that I'd be pumped up to go to. Mike and I went there the night before I left! Also your sister looks a lot like you.

I love Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt. Nothing like it!

I bought all the ingredients for green monsters this week. I cannot wait until I start my morning right!
