Weekend Food

I love weekends

Last night we cooked up some broccoli and tofu, which we ate on top of brown rice.  Mmmmm!  We inhaled this pretty quickly so that we could meet up with some pals for a few bevvies and some laughs.

In addition to weekends, I also love tofu.  I don't even need to cook it or season it - I like it straight up.  Last night, however, Chris fried it up in some sesame oil with sesame seeds, salt and pepper.  Perfection.

Breakfast this morning was our usual as of late - a veggie fritatta.  Fritattas are so good, and much easier than omelets.  This was enjoyed with toast, coffee, OJ, and strawberries.

On the menu tonight ... lobster Alfredo.

Can't every day be a Saturday?

Do you love tofu?  What are you up to this weekend?

I bought tofu once...couldn't open the package. Meaning like cottage cheese couldn't make myself eat it :)

Mmm, that tofu looks pretty. :) I enjoy tofu straight-up too, but when seasoned right it becomes incredible! Today I'm going to brunch with Michael via Skype, and then hunt for a reasonably close grocery store.

I do not like tofu... I have tried to like it, but I think the consistency just gets to me or something!

I have a fun weekend. Friday night I went to a movie with my boyfriend and then last night I made taco chili for him and his roommates and we watched the Viking's embarrassing loss to the Packers.

I'm okay with tofu, but my family will definitely not eat it :)
