I Love Short Work Weeks

H

appy Friday Peeps!

My peanut butter banana cream pie oats kept me full all morning yesterday.  Lunch was a small piece of wifesaver, an orange, and fruit cup.  After work I had a cheese string.

Dinner was Swiss steak served over roasted potatoes:

In the evening the hubby and I watched a commemorative 9/11 DVD.  I was previewing it to see if it would be good to show to my class.  I decided that it not.  It is too graphic and emotional, and at some parts very hard to watch.

My evening snack was some popcorn and a grapefruit:

This morning I had a smoothie with 1 cup unsweetened chocolate Almond Breeze, 1 banana, 1 scoop Amazing Grass, 1 tsp Salba, and 1 tsp hemp seeds:

What do you have planned for the weekend?

I don't have any big plans yet, but I do have to get some things ready for Project Food Blog 2010 - Anyone else participating in this?

Ya it is hard for me to watch any of the footage. It just makes it feel real all over again, and it really breaks my heart. I know it happened, but I just cant bear to watch it all over again. Tonight I have a womens ministry even at my church, tomorrow I may go hiking, and sunday is football!!

How old are your students? Sometimes I think it's important to see those things,e ven though they're hard to watch.

I have a shrimp boil tonight, then a football game tomorrow and a long run on Sunday!

I THINK I want to participate in Proj Food Blog, but I'm wondering if it's worth the stress...since I know I'm never gonna win. I have no idea what to post, either.

Yes, short work weeks are awesome! Nice eats! I've been thinking about hooking up with FoodBuzz but do you make as much money as you do with google ads? I haven't really researched that yet. Thanks!

I love a short work week. Must be why I only work 4 days a week all year :-) Though it's not in a row so no 3 day weekends all year :-(

I played ultimate frisbee this week-end, and it was a blast!!

I think all the footage is hard to watch but important too you know? I do think there is a certain age of which it can be deemed appropriate though.
