Giveaway Announcement

$40 CSN Store Giveaway Announcement

I was recently contacted by the promotions team at CSN Stores.  As most of you know by now, CSN Stores has 250+ online stores that sell an extremely wide range of products, with my favourite being the cookware of course!  They have a huge selection of dutch ovens, crepe pans, and kitchen scales - all things that are on my wish list.  I have worked with CSN Stores in the past to do some reviews and giveaways.  The last time I worked with them I reviewed a kettle, so this time I will do a giveaway for my readers!

This contest is open to residents of Canada and the US.

The winner will receive a $40 promotional code to spend at CSN Stores.

To enter:  Leave a comment on todays post answering my profound question :-)

The winner will be chosen randomly on Tuesday September 21st.

On to food ...

I started my morning out today with a grapefruit and a slice of toast (homemade Irish bread):

Lunch was a small bowl of chipotle chicken soup, 1 peach, and 1 apple.

Dinner was chipotle salmon, veggies, and salad:

I had class tonight, and it was great!  I think I am going to like grad school!!  I am taking Neuropsycholgy on Wednesdays, and Therapy on Mondays. I am also finishing up some stuff for a directed reading course. It should be a great semester.  I came home from class famished.  I had 2 egg whites, and some veggies:

To enter the $40 CSN Store Contest, answer the following question in your comment:

I just started grad school as well! I think I'm going to love it, once the anxiety fades away :)

So much can happen in five years, you could be a whole new person in that amount of time, I'm certainly much different than I was five years ago!

Ideally in five years i'd like to be married to my wonderful partner, living in a new location, perhaps Vancouver and working in the cultural heritage field. Also, hopefully i'll have run a marathon by this point :)

I see myself working at a school helping a program with their athletes. I want to be a conditioning coach but also help with the athletic training. I also hope to be doing some writing on the side!!

Let's see... in 5 years I hope to be living somewhere out west (California or Washington, please), financially secure (in that I don't stress the heck out every day), working in a non-profit setting, helping others, and writing. Lots of writing.

Oh God - the Veggies covering my plate are 4x what you have there...maybe that's why I'm always so bloated and sick...:( (sigh won't go there).

Oh, Jolene honey - y'know to ask the tough questions don't ya now? ;) Gosh - I'm in pain over where I stand tommorow...

Where would I LIKE to see myself in 5 years? - I don't even know! - so I'll just have to say Happy. Happy. In a relationship with a Gorgeous Guy - and Happy. Walking down a street, holding his hand, and smiling. And Feeling Safe. Not afraid to go back home by myself or using food as my (horrible) net.

Peace.

Ufda. 5 years from now... Let's see, I will be 34...

Ok, I hope that I am married. I hope that I am either have 1 child or am expecting.

I think I will still be living in Minneapolis. I think I will still work for my current company, but in a different capacity.

I know I will still be running.

Oh geez, what a question! Is it crazy that I really have no idea? I think I'll still be working in the outdoor gear industry, but I have no idea where I'll be living or what exactly I'll be doing. I don't think I'll be married, but you never know! I DO know that I'll still be running and biking up a storm!

5 years? BOTH my babies will be in school... not sure if I will still be a stay at home mom or not? Maybe work IN their school doing something? Nope, not gonna think about it. Don't want them to grow up that fast!

Wow. This question IS pretty intense. lol.

Hm. I see myself working with wonderful, passionate people in a journalistic field. I see myself having a great network of both spiritual and foodie buddies. I see myself working hard, yet not earning much because goddamn it, that's the curse of being a journalist. And I also see myself spending all my salary on food and traveling. As usual.

That's one of those questions I usually never think of so normally don't have an answer. However for you: a girlfriend, house paid for and rocking an even better body than I have now! Hey you asked :-)

5 years from now I want to have my own boutique bakery... like Crave Cupcakes... but with cookies instead!

Don't know what profession I will be in, but I do know that I want to be a mother and enjoying all of the things my own Mom warned me about :)

The hard part about this question is the difference btw where do I a) see myself, and b) want to see myself...in order to spread good and love....i HOPE to God, that I am healthy...because I fear there is much wrong now and that I face a long haul. I wish for peace, health and happiness...

I see myself... in a beautiful house, with a job that I love, spending lots of time with my hubby :)

I'm just finishing grad school now, so I see myself hopefully with a rewarding, reasonably remunerative career and with one or two kids and a house.
