What's Up Wednesday

Since I've been getting up so early this summer, I've enjoyed going out for breakfast a few times.  On Monday I went to Wild Sage in the Doubletree hotel. 

Today, my sister and I ate at Fresh & Sweet, and were very, very disappointed.  During the week there is no sit down service, but the service at the counter wasn't very good.  We both ordered coffees (they never give refills by the way), but they were out of cream!?  They told us there should be some milk around the corner ... but that was empty too.  Then our food took for. ev. er.

They didn't give us cutlery, and the basket at the front counter only had 1 fork in it.  There was a basket of plastic stuff beside it, so we had to use that.  Fine.  Then, while eating my breakfast sandwich, I had a nice surprise of a bunch of egg shells.

That is all shell!

Disgusting.  I brought it up to the counter and showed them and luckily, they made me a new sandwich, but by that point my sister was done eating, so I was eating by myself.  We will not visit this restaurant again, as this is the third time in a row I've had terrible service and not-so-great food there.

In other news, we had great service the other day when we had some snacks at the Rooftop.
