I was at Costco a couple of weeks ago and saw the dry attachment for the Vita-Mix. Since I use my Vita-Mix daily, I figured that I would probably use this attachment regularly as well.
I am SUPER impressed with it. It grinds coffee beans in seconds, can make flour, grate cheese, etc.. Today I used it to grind flax seeds. Everything goes into it dry - no wet ingredients needed! The blade pushes everything up instead of sucking it down like a regular blender blade.

Into the freezer to keep it fresh!
Have you had your eye on any appliances (or attachments) lately?

I have the dry attachment and never use it! I should really dust that puppy off :)
Whoa! I didn't know Vita-Mix had a dry attachment! I never use it, though I think I would use it more if I had that! Too bad it's with my mommy now.
I really, really want a juicer, and I have for quite a while. I think I am going to invest in one when I return from Europe. Although a vitamin would be nice too ... :)
I've had my eye on a vitamix, nevermind an attachment! I just moved back to Calgary so hopefully I'll find one on sale in the city at some point :)
I think I finally got all the gadgets I need, although I could probably use a new blender.
I've had my eye on a vita mix for forever!
I've had my eye on the VitaMix for a while, but that's not happening any time soon. One other appliance both my husband and I want is the Keurig (for coffee). I'm hoping to buy it for him/us this year!
Jolene-Thanks for stopping by. I too have a vitamix and use it daily...think i may need this dry attachment. !!!!
I want some attachments for my Kitchen Aid blender!!
Oh cool! I am impressed that it can shred cheese! I always do that by hand.
An appliance i have thought about getting is a kitchen aid mixer... but I don't think I bake enough to make it worthwhile!
