Some friends of ours got married yesterday!
Congratulations Jessie and Chris!
I was too busy dancing to snap many pictures, but I did manage to capture a few shots of the fabulous meal.
The white and pink thing was some kind of delicious coconut dessert. Mmmmmm!
I had no thesis work to do this weekend, or any other responsibilities to take care of so today was a couch day. The hubby and I lounged around all day and watched TV/movies.
I also did something I haven't done since I was about 13 ...
I ate ramen noodle soup.
I saw this flavour and just couldn't resist giving it a shot.
It didn't disappoint, but I got my sodium intake for the year, so it will be a very, very long time before I ever eat this again!
Okay, tomorrow I am back to being an adult. Off the couch, no more ramen and to work and the dentist I go.
Are there any foods that you ate as a kid/teen that you have purposely abandoned as an adult?
(I used to loooove pizza pops!)

Yes, I used to LOVE ramen as a kid as well! That actually looks really good!
Congrats to your friends!
Awesome noodles

I used to eat pretty terribly so I've abandoned just about everything! Ramen was one of them - I used to live on that stuff.
I used to LOVE Little Debbie snacks. I never eat them anymore though.
I LOVE weddings - congrats to your friends! There's not much I ate as a kid that I don't eat now, although just not as often. I do make a grown-up version of chicken pot pie which is much better than the frozen version we had as kids.
Glad you had a great weekend. Ramen is definitely one of those foods for me too. And Twinkies. Gosh, I used to love those things!
ramen noodles were the stuff of after school snacks in junior high...and boxed brownie mix that never got baked with me and my friends...oh the memories!
Mmmm noodles! You're right about the sodium though.. ;)
Pizza pops and mini pizzas for sure! And KD... and Stove Top Stuffing...
Oh my god I ate Pizza Pops EVERY DAY for lunch in Grade 8. I can't even look at the box now.
Oh my gosh, I miss ramen. I can't have it because of my gluten intolerance, but boy do I miss it. It was the ultimate comfort food for me (and so cheap!)
