Today was a perfect, relaxing Sunday :-) We spent the day with family, and also did some shopping!

We went for brunch with my family, and I had this:

Southwestern Breakfast (Ground Beef, Egg, Veggies, Cheese, Hash browns).
I ate 1 slice of the toast.

After brunch the hubby and I took our little nephew shopping with us, as we picked out some things for our basement (which is SO close to being finished)!

In the afternoon I ate this:

So far I have LOVED all of the bars from Glo Bakery! Angela is a great baker!

Dinner was at the hubby's parents home ... and we had a lovely fall meal - roast beef, mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and rutabaga. I put gravy on everything except the rutabaga. I also had a glass of Crystal Light Iced tea.

After dinner the hubby and I hit chapters for some tea, and some browsing.
Right now I am snacking on some yogurt and glo - nola:

The glo-nola is another one of Angela's products. This is how it comes:

I sprinkled about 1/4 of the bag on my yogurt.

This week I will be featuring 3 new vegetarian recipes on my blog! The hubby and I are trying to incorporate more vegetarian meals into our lives, and so I have decided to try 10 new veggie recipes this month. Stay tuned for the recipes, and reviews!

Words on vegetarianism - The hubby and I love ALL types of food, and that includes meat. We do however really enjoy tofu and other vegetarian proteins, and do not feel like we have to include meat in our meals everyday. We know that going veggie is better for the environment, and that is why we try to maintain a flexitarian approach to our diets - although labels are not cool, so we just eat what we want :-)
