(and I may or may not have had one last night before bed)
This afternoon I got a LOT of work done! I worked on my thesis and ran errands, and still had time to relax.
For dinner the hubby and I went to his parents house for turkey and all the fix'ns. This was my ginormous plate:

I also had 2 glasses of this:

After dinner and visiting, the hubby and I met up with some friends at a place called La Bodega. I had one strawberry beer called Fruli.
Now I am off to bed ... and tomorrow it is turkey day #2!
I know thanksgiving is a much bigger holiday in the US than in Canada ... in Canada, Christmas is the biggest family holiday typically. Which holiday is the biggest in your family? What do you eat at thanksgiving?

Christmas is definitely the biggest holiday we celebrate although I LOVE Thanksgiving!
What are you writing your thesis about?
yum! your eats look fantastic! I think the biggest faamily holiday for me would have to be the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashana. My family and friends all get together and have the most amazing dinner with about 60 people at my house! its incredible! I posted about it and took lots of foodie pics!
your turkey dinner looks amazing and so classic thanksgiving! glad you had a great time!
Christmas is our families biggest celebration. We always have my grandparents over and then visit other family memebers on Boxing Day. I also love Bonfire night, which leaves everyone smelling of smoke all night, but it's the whole getting together, watching fireworks and trying to keep warm that I love.

I love those Babybells. I'm thankful they're individually wrapped or I'd just go to town on them.
The turkey dinner looks amazing!
happy thanksgiving!
my mama is canadian, so we normally have canadian AND american thanksgiving... but chrismas is probably bigger. and, we have turkey again for that dinner. (we, clearly, are all about the turkey dinners :-) )
