15 months, 8 grad classes done.  The semester is over, and with that all course work is done for my degree.  I can breathe again.  No more heading to class.  No more assignments.  All I have left to do now is the rest of my thesis, which is flexible and pretty stress free.  My plan was to finish this degree in 2 years or less, and I won't let anything stand in my way.

To celebrate the hubby surprised me by making one of my favourite meals, and the same meal that he made me the first time he ever cooked for me when we were just teenagers.

The noodles and meatballs are actually from a local restaurant (made fresh in store) and the sauce is a delicious, time consuming Emeril recipe.

I feel very free knowing that I don't have class or assignments to worry about.  I have so many things to look forward to this month, and I am very happy to get back to my regular blogging.

This December I am looking forward to ...

Cooking and baking a lot.
Christmas shopping.
Christmas parties galore!
Watching Home Alone with the hubby while snuggling and drinking wine.
Spending time with my family.
Blogging Regularly.

What are you looking forward to this December?

Congrats on finishing! What an awesome feeling! I am glad you don't feel too stressed about your thesis and can enjoy this holiday season.

I am impressed that your husband made that for you as your first meal way back when you were teens!

This December I am looking forward to time with friends, a Feliz Navidad dinner party I am hosting, and going home for Christmas!

Congrats on being done! I am totally jealous. I have a week of clinic left (we see patients morning and afternoon), 2 exams this week, and then 6 exams the following week. But then I'll be baking, wrapping presents, hanging with my kids and husband, and hopefully getting into the Christmas spirit!

YAY!!! enjoy your break!! celebrating along with you :) must feel nice knowing you can relax into the holiday season now :)

oh and i wish my family liked squash as much as me. my mom likes the taste but she says she can only stomach a small amount before she feels the bloating effects of the fibrous squash. i think my stomach is much different than most peoples... it's a starch belly for sure :P
