This Week's Eats

Earlier this week we took my dad out for a belated fathers' day dinner to Bombay.  We shared a couple of appetizers:

My dad got a butter chicken platter, that came with a wide variety of dishes.  I ordered chicken korma, and some biryani to share.

The Hottest Curry in Regina caught Christopher's eye, especially since the menu said there is a 10% discount if you finish the dish!  He doesn't like to let food "beat him", so that's what he ordered.

He was done in no time, and we got 10% off of the bill

Breakfast all week was watermelon and cottage cheese:

Light and refreshing - just the kind of breakfast I've been craving these days.

Yesterday we visited on the deck after work, and ended up eating dinner outside too.  I'm thinking this is going to happen a lot over the next couple months; we have to take advantage of our short spring/summer season.

Tomorrow is the first day of summer, and we have delicious dinner plans.  The rest of the weekend will be spent relaxing in the yard, as long as the rain stays away.

How was your week?  Any fun weekend plans?

So did Chris think the curry was super spicy? Well done on finishing it. Your pics of Indian food has me craving it! And the grilled burgers look SO good. I actually have not grilled yet this year which is a shame! I will remedy that soon, though.

I had a great weekend but it was super busy. The party we hosted yesterday was a lot of fun, though!

@ Lisa - no, he didn't think it was too bad at all. He was sweating a bit, but he scarfed it down pretty quickly!!
