This weekend we enjoyed lobster and crab legs:
Buttermilk waffles:
And a turkey dinner:
We stuffed the turkey with a cornbread stuffing, and also had mashed potatoes, beets, carrots, and a perfect, homemade gravy.
Although this looks like a lot of cooking, none of it was very labour intensive, so we actually didn't spend too much time in the kitchen this weekend. Since it's no-spend-November, we're happy to have leftovers to last most of the week.
We had a giggly, silly, fun weekend, and even managed to stay up until about 3:00 a.m. on Saturday night watching YouTube videos, and visiting. I love our weekends like this.
How was your weekend? What did you do?
Did you cook anything yummy on the weekend?

Yum, all of that food looks awesome! And that is nice that it wasn't too labor intensive since you had a labor intensive day in the kitchen earlier in the week (although I know you love spending time in the kitchen so it's not a chore to you!).
My weekend was very very busy. I did a bunch of stuff and felt like I went from one thing to another. Despite being busy I made a couple of dishes. First I assembled a ground beef lasagna and froze that as I will serve it (along with another lasagna) the day after Thanksgiving when I host my family. Then I made lentil enchiladas which we brought over to a couple who just had a baby! And then on Sunday I made a turkey chili in the crockpot which was really good!
You guys are so cute! I long for weekends like this - lately we've been busy and driving to Regina every weekend, attending family functions and whatnot, so our weekends have been almost as booked as our weekdays. It's all good though! That's a nice looking food party!
