We were in bed early, and then up on Wednesday around 8:00 a.m. to prep some more. We work together in the kitchen seamlessly, each taking charge of some of the dishes, while helping with the others. We turn up the music, and dance around the kitchen, laughing, chopping, and having the greatest time. There is something so soothing about cooking, and we both really enjoy it.
We set the table, and chose serving dishes for each course.
We put napkins out for appies.

Cooking parties are so fun! Every once in a while Mike and I will do something like that. We cook together often, just not usually for extended periods of time. It's a blast and I wish we could do it more!
There are times when I spend a good chunk of the day in the kitchen but it's rare for me to spend the whole day! Unless I am hanging out and helping when my mom hosts a holiday, or on the weekend of Julia Child Night (which is more like 2 days in the kitchen!). I can't wait to see what all you guys made!!
