Beginning of the Week Eats

Yesterday was the perfect day for chili - it was absolutely freezing.  We let it simmer for a good couple hours to make sure it was perfect.


It's best with cheese and cilantro as toppings.


This evening we had ginger noodles with chicken and broccoli.


We seasoned the noodles up with sesame oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and some spices.


We juiced cantaloupe, red pepper and grapefruit to drink.


We've had a tasty start to the week!

We've had chili weather here, too, but it is starting to warm up today which I am so excited about! This week has been good but it's been busy. I had dinner with former coworkers on Tuesday night, then last night Phil and I had a double date at a pizza place we've been wanting to check out, which was great (and they had great GF pizza). Tonight I have book club. I'm looking forward to an unplanned Friday night and then we head up to my parents on Saturday morning for an overnight stay.
