Two Nights Out

Last week we had two evenings out.  On Wednesday we went to Christopher's parents' home for dinner and a visit.  We had some cheese and crackers to start.


We also ate the best chicken wings ever:


And some salad, garlic bread, and lemon, chicken pasta:


The meal was soooooo good, but to top it all off, we had Saskatoon berry perogies and an apple cake for dessert.


We had a wonderful evening!

On Thursday we went to a really awful mall in town to try the Korean food in their food court and catch a movie


The Korean food was tasty, and a really good price.  I had the beebimbap, which came with miso soup.  I ordered a side of kimchi on the side, because ... yum.


When we were done eating, we walked through the mall to the movie theatre, and saw The Purge: Anarchy.  We liked this better than the first Purge movie.

Our weekend was spent out of town at a music festival.

Yum, the Korean food looks good and it's awesome that it was inexpensive, too.

My weekend was great. It left me wishing that every weekend was a long weekend. We attended a wedding and went to an amusement park.
