Roadtrip

On the Labour Day long weekend we went on a road trip to catch a weekend music festival.  We had such a great time soaking up sun, and taking in the music of Jack White, The Arctic Monkeys, The Smalls, Death Cab for Cutie, and Serena Ryder, just to name a few.  We had VIP passes, which was great because the line ups in the regular section were insane.  We ate poutine (because we didn't have enough in Montreal), and some absolutely incredible sandwiches from a Vietnamese food truck.

After the show on the Friday night we went with some pals to the sweetest loft I've ever seen.

The hidden staircase to the basement was pretty darn cool ...

On Saturday morning we were up bright and early to meet friends Ryan and Tanis for breakfast.  We also got to meet their precious little boy for the first time!!  We had a really nice visit, and then were off to the park for the concerts again.

We got home on Monday evening and ordered Lang's Cafe for dinner.

The leftovers were great for lunch today.
