Growing Food

A friend from work gave me the largest zucchini I have ever seen.

It is as long as my arm (*more arm and zucchini out of the frame)!

Looks like we'll eating a lot of zucchini in the next few days.

Nothing I've grown is getting that large, but I do have another 3rd tomato coming, and 1 lonely pepper.  Slowly but surely!

There is a certain satisfaction that comes from growing one's own food.

What would you do with all that zucchini?

That is one heck of a zucchini! I'd probably make zucchini bread because I'm not creative! haha

Ha ha, oh the joys of growing zucchini. :) I'm super excited, we have a giant patio (like...26 feet long), and we're going to try to grow stuff next year, with zucchini being on the list of course! I love making zucchini noodles, or tossing it into virtually any stir-fry or bowl.

WOW, that is huge. I'd made one really big sausage-stuffed zucchini boat. That is my favorite thing to do with zucchini!
