Semester = Done!

My last two papers for the semester were just submitted, and a weight was lifted.  I can now spend every waking moment relishing in the joy of the Christmas season.

On Friday I spent the day and evening with co-workers.  I ate a toasted tomato sandwich before going to work for a day of meetings and professional development.  We went to Boston Pizza for lunch, where I enjoyed a perogy stromboli and spinach salad.  After work I had a martini with some work friends.

Friday evening was my staff Christmas party.  We went to a restaurant called Beer Brothers, where all the dishes are made with beer.  I had a cup of curried, pulled pork soup and about 1/2 of a poutine with stout gravy.

A friend got the sliders - they are so cute!

I did my own hair for the party (I am terrible at doing hair), and it actually turned out alright :-)

Blurry - sorry!

I didn't get any pictures of my eats this weekend, but I had leftover tofu, veggie stir-fry for breakfast on Saturday, sukiyaki beef with rice for lunch, and French onion soup with 2 slices of pizza for dinner.  My dad took me for lunch today to a make-your-own stir-fry place where I made a giant veggie, loaded stir-fry.  We spent the day shopping together, and then I went to my in-laws for a stew supper.  I had a Nanimo square and a grapefruit for dessert.

This week I plan on decorating for Christmas, baking loads of goodies, and getting ready for our annual Christmas party on Saturday.  Ahhhh, it feels so good to be done the semester early!

I am participating in the Canadian blogger Christmas Secret Santa, and a Secret Santa exchange at work, so I need to figure out what to get for those.

How was your weekend?  What did you do?
Do you do any Secret Santa exchanges?

Congrats on finishing your semester! I will be done by the end of this week, so I am excited. Unfortunately, I have to have a talk with my advisor, which I have been putting off. But it will happen this week!
This weekend, I cooked, baked, and made fantastic christmas decorations.
I am doing a blog gift exchange, but I don't think I am doing any "real life" secret santas this year. I have done them tho. In Texas, they call them White Elephants. Weird, right?
Your hair come out lovely, by the way!

LOVE your hair! I can never do my own because well, it's on the top of my head, and it's difficult for me to figure out what to do with the back of it. :P
