50 and Fabulous

If there is anyone who can make 50 the new black it is Samantha Jones (SATS) and the hubby's aunt, Charmain.  Happy Birthday Charmain!  I hope I am just as fabulous as you are when I am fifty!

The hubby and I had a fun-filled, jam-packed weekend.  Yesterday we spent the evening at our friends' parents house for a Christmas party with great food, drinks, and company.

This morning we had the hubby's parents and aunt over for brunch.  We started with some munchies and then had bacon and Camembert tarts for an appetizer.  Our main course was Wifesaver breakfast, sausage, and pull-apart cinnamon rolls with mimosas and coffee.

This evening we went to the hubby's aunt Charmain's house for her 50th birthday celebration.  The food was outstanding, and the company was classy.  We had a wonderful evening.

"The Hubby" and Moi
This week is going to be a whirlwind, and I am so excited!

Myself and "The Hubby"
What is on your agenda for the week?
What is "the new black" in your opinion?
I am thinking it is bacon.  And jeggings.

I LOVE those pictures of you and the hubs! You guys are too cute! (And I really love that lacy top/dress you're wearing). Well, in my opinion black is always the new black, but jeggings are pretty revolutionary

Bacon wrapped figs are the new black. I had some at the party I went to on Saturday - delish! :) And they were stuffed w/ blue cheese. Mmmm....

This week I will work! Nothing too exciting planned until the christmas festivities begin on Friday! :)

Very cute pics of you and your main squeeze! I love how everyone takes such nice family photos around the holidays...

I think head-to-toe Lululemon (and not just when you're gym-bound or running errands) is the new black. I picked up that habit in Vancouver because it is everrrrrrywhere. Jeans are overrated :-)

Jeggings are totally the new black!

All your foot looks ah-ma-zing! I was home alone this weekend so my food intake was less than photo-worthy ;)

Mmmm! Look at all that yummy food!

I'll go with bacon as the new black, always :)

The boyfriend and I are headed to Florida this week to visit my parents! I've never been away from Canada for the holidays so it should be interesting!

Aww you guys look so cute together! Love!

The whole spread looks amazing. I'd love the recipe for the bacon and camembert tart. I have a wheel of the cheese and I'm not sure what to do with it.

The new black? Blogging, long sweaters and cardigans. :)

She's 50? No. Freaking. Way. She's aged really well, or hardly aged!

And I can now see why you love the holidays...good lord! Look at the spread!
