Late night peeps! I had a really busy day today, and it is just coming to an end right about now - almost midnight. On a work night. Eeeeeeeeeek! I am going to keep this short and sweet because I need sleep. Like now.

This morning I had a green monster:

Lunch was leftover perogies and meatloaf:

I ate 1/2 this for a snack:

I worked and then went to a workshop, then I made a quick and easy supper of pasta with a store bought red sauce:

After dinner I went for a 90 minute massage - pure bliss!

Then the hubby and I drove 20 minutes out of the city for a little work get together at a friends. I had one cider beer, and 6 crackers with dip.

Must sleep now.

I am not like some people ... I cannot go to bed really late and then get up early or I will be physically sick (flu, puking, sore throat, whatever).

What about you - can you stay up late, and still get up early feeling alright?
How much sleep do you need in a night?

A good 9-10 hours does it for me. Then I am happy :-)

I'm useless without a good 8 hours of sleep! I've been cutting it close this week so tonight I am playing catch up. :)

I WISH i could get 9-10 hours. I started taking a multivitamin and that has helped me with my energy level!!! I can get 7 hours and I'm fine now...before? I NEEDED 8 at least!

Oh I can barely stay up past 11 :) However, no matter what time I go to bed I'm usually up before 7 (closer to 6), even on the weekends, so that's why I start getting a bit tired around 9:30 or so!...

The pasta looks simply amazing. I don't need much sleep to function-the least amount I can get is probably 5-6 hours. I am definitely happier when I get more than that though!

I am totally like you. I need my sleep or I feel TERRIBLE!! Oh how was I a party girl for those few years... I remember coming home at 6ish and being at work for 9!! There is no way now!

Hopefully you had a good time!!

I am super jealous of your massage! I am hoping that maybe hubby will give me a gift certificate for Christmas - it's the only way I can afford to go :)
I am an early-riser, but I used to loathe getting up early! My current job requires me to work most nights until 11, so bedtime is after midnight, but I still get up at 530 or 6 most mornings. It also helps that yoga class encourages me to get up early. It's such a morning motivator!

I'm jealous of your massage - I so need one! :D

I also need a lot of sleep. 8 hours is perfect for me. I can do 7, but no less! And I can sleep for 9-10 if I dont set an alarm!

I used to be able to stay up late (this makes me sound so old) but now I also wake up feeling sick. I am good with about 7 hours of sleep, but if I let myself sleep in, then it's more like 8!

90 minutes spent in a massage setting? Amazing! Hope you have a great day!

I can go to bed late and get up early, but I'd want an afternoon nap later on :)

I need 7-8 hours, but I usually only get 5-6. I'm definitely crabby when I don't get enough sleep though.

Oh goodness. A 90 min massage sounds like pure BLISS!! Usually if I don't get the standard 7-8 hours of sleep I get cranky and just don't function properly and usually end up sleeping the weekend away. So I try to maintain that standard of 7-8 hours of sleep per night.
