Good evening peeps! How are ya?

I woke up this morning and I was FREEZING! I am not loving this -30 weather.

I started my morning with a Green Monster (almond breeze, chia seeds, almond butter, banana, and amazing grass).

Then I ventured out into the darkness to my car, and seriously almost got frostbite on the way from my house to my car.

I am a major wuss in the cold - but seriously -3o something is not my idea of fun.

Lunch today was some pasta with tomato sauce (boring, I know). The hubby and I usually buy groceries on Sunday, and we just didn't this week. We haven't felt like going out in the cold!

I also had an orange and a glo-bar:

After work I did a little bit of Christmas shopping!! I love finding the perfect gift for people.

Hubby made dinner - Chicken tacos. He cooked some ground chicken with some taco seasoning, and then added salsa and cheese and wrapped 'em up. We dipped them in sour cream of course.

I ate this toffifee while the hubby assembled dinner. I am a big help like that.

After dinner we did some more shopping and picked up a few groceries.
I enjoyed a 1/2 sweet, non-fat caramel brulee drink from Starbucks. It helped to warm me up.

How cold is it where you are? How do you keep warm?

ahhh I agree with you. I am looking outside right now (6:45 am) knowing that I have to walk in the bitter cold/hail/snow/high winds and so not diggin it. When it's cold like that...all I feel like doing is drinking an obnoxious amount of tea and sleeping in my nice warm bed with a spaceheater in my room lol. :}

it was 30 degrees here yesterday and I thought it was cold! I'm from Texas...I dunno what I'm gonna do if i move somewhere where it snows! Good luck with your shopping!

It got down to 18F or lower last night - I had two medium-weight blankets on the bed! I love that we have super fluffy flannel sheets on the bed :-)

OH MY GOODNESS! -30. I truly think that my body would just shrivel up and freeze in that temperature. I'm in South Florida, and it is 82F degrees.
I love finding the perfect gifts for everyone too... this year I am getting stumped on what to get people- particularly my parents & my husband. What are you doing?

I can't imagine being in that cold again.. I complain about -10!! When I lived in Calgary, the worst it got with the windchill was -50. That was the night the fire alarm went off 5x in my apartment!! EEK!

We make those burritos all the time, they are yum!! :)

Have a great Thursday!

It was in the 40s yesterday and I was complaining about how cold it was. Now I feel guilty after reading about how cold it is in Canada!!

I keep warm by wearing fleece pajamas to bed and snuggling in blankets. It works like a charm :)

Hmmmmm, I LOVE tofifee. It's SO hard to stop at just one though!

It's only about -10 to -15 in Kamloops. BUT I'm heading back up to FSJ tomorrow where it's about -25 to -30, so I'll be right there with ya. I grew up in that kind of weather and my only advice is bundle up and don't go outside too much! Haha

It's currently 18 where I love, and I've been drinking tea... lots and lots and lots of hot hot tea.
