Working on the Weekend

I spent most of the weekend at the university researching and writing for my thesis.  Surprisingly it wasn't too painful.  Last night I was able to get out for a friend's bridal shower and a bit of dancing!

Went to the in-laws for dinner this evening and they had made a turkey dinner :-)  Great way to end off a weekend of hard work and productivity.  I will be doing more thesis work this week, but I also have something fun coming up this weekend that I must plan for ...

I usually do my school work at home, but I have recently realized that I dread it less when I leave the house to work.  It allows me to think of time at home as my time to do whatever I want, and time away from home as "work time."

Do you do work, or school work at home?
What was the highlight of your weekend?

Mine was definitely the dancing and catching up with friends!

I do pretty much all of my school work at home! I like to drink tea and snack while I study. It's too much of a hassle to pack up my stuff just to refill my travel mug with hot water, and my library is really strict about not eating in the library. At home I can close the bedroom door, study, stretch, and SNACK!!

I wish I could work at home!

I don't do much work from home right now. Occasionally I'll put in a few hours over the weekend, but I don't have a productive space to work so it never really goes that well.

My job requires me to work from home, so I've gotten the hang of how to be productive there. But I sometimes head to a coffee shop and find that it helps me stay on track even more.

Highlight of my weekend: staying in my PJs all day Saturday -- working on blog stuff, relaxing and spending time with my sister. =)

I tend to do most of my studying at home, but I want to change that this CFA study cycle. I will still study at home on week nights, but I want to go to a coffee shop or library on the weekends!

I had a rough weekend :(
Def agree though with what you said about home is time to do home stuff, not work stuff. Glad the thesis work is going well :)

I freaking love gravy on turkey or chicken!!! Too bad glenn hates gravy. I hate doing work at home...but sometimes it's a must when it's review time!

That supper looks yummy!

I work at home so I can multi-task and do laundry, etc. That being said, I get distracted no matter where I work so it really doesn't matter:)
