Sunny Days

I

t has been unseasonably warm on the Saskatchewan prairies.  Winters for as far back as I can remember have been freeeeeezing cold, but this year we have lucked out and are actually experiencing some melting.  It is glorious, and makes me cheery.

Sunny days call for sunny drinks, like this pink juice.

Pink Juice

1 small beet
small chunk of ginger (1 tsp size)
2 apples
1/4 of a small pineapple

This juice gave me some energy after a very long sleep.  All day at work yesterday I had a headache.  I came home, ate dinner and could not stay awake.  I fell asleep around 6:30 p.m. and slept until 8:30 this morning!  Crazy, but I think my body needed it.

Is it unseasonably warm where you are?
Have you ever fell asleep at 6:30 for the night?

It is very warm here...in the mid-70s! But that's typical random LA weather.

I fell asleep last night at 8:30 and woke up this morning at 3:30. Got to love this jet lag!

I have definitely gone to bed that early before. Seeing as how I'm 20 weeks pregnant and have to be up at 5 for work it's a miracle if I stay up past 8 any day of the week.

Man, you must've been completely wiped out to fall asleep so early! But you probably felt pretty refreshed in the morning. I've been loving this weather, too - it's so, so weird, but compared to last winter with the constant wind-chill warnings, it's kind of a miracle.

It is unseasonably warm here as well. Usually we are knee deep in snow by now! Crazy.

This whole winter has been unseasonably warm and I LOVE IT. we have barely had any snow and it's been around freezing, or maybe even about. usually it's like -10 or -20F around this time of year. If all of our winters were like this, I would never complain about living in Minnesota.

I am loving this 'winter' weather...though I feel like I am bracing myself for what is to come...this can't last all winter can it?!

It's snowing here, or at least it was, haha. I was sick the only two warm days we've had in a month. Bad timing! That juice looks gorgeous!
