My dad took my sister and I out for supper tonight ... a tradition we have for birthdays. My sister turned 25 on New Years Eve, but we didn't get a chance to go out until tonight. We ate at one of my favourite restaurants in the city - The Creek in Cathedral Bistro. I had the tenderloin with potatoes, veggies and a red wine sauce.
A couple of other things that are my "favourite" these days include:

A little something special that I got this December ...
Maple glazed, pepper crusted salmon ...
Recipe: Marinade in 1 part soy sauce, 3 parts maple syrup. Cover with fresh cracked black pepper. Bake for 15 minutes at 350, or until done.

Crack crackers...ba ha ha! I've never been to The Creek before - does it have any veg-friendly menu offerings? As for favorites, definitely the band Mad Young Darlings right now. They're from Winnipeg and we played a show with them in December, and they knocked my socks off. I can't stop listening to their album!

Right now I'm in looooove with the Vega Vanilla Chai protein powder. It may be winter, but I've been having smoothies with it and frozen fruit every day this week. Can't get enough!

Angel's Dream or Angel's Blend tea is my favourite! It can go by different names, but it is basically a black tea with blackberry and maple. It's soo good!

I do tend to stick to things that are my favorite. Of course, I try to incorporate new things because then you might find a new favorite, but I always have my stand by favorites that I keep going back to!
