C

rawling out of bed was not easy this morning! I had to make a chocolate/ green smoothie to get me going:

- 1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond breeze
- 1 banana

- 2 packs Amazing Grass

- Scoop of freshly ground peanut butter

Ta-da!

Lunch was an organic, wheat free frozen pasta dish, with an orange, and some crispy minis.

Dinner was a spicy Asian stir-fry with chow mien noodles:

The hubby and I are busy painting/ doing things around the house. We are repainting our living room and kitchen because it has been a few years, and it needs it. I am not a huge fan of painting, but I want to get it done! I will be having a brownie for a snack this evening.

Off to do some work!

Are you a good painter? Have you ever painted your room/ house, etc.?

My stepmom is constantly redoing their house, so we paint like every summer. I think its a lot of fun...the fumes give me a headach though!!
The recipe for carrot fries is super simple. Just cut up some carrots into strips, put into a baggie with a bit of olive oil, shake real well, then put into a pan. I usually sprinkle either garlic salt or kosher salt over mine. Then bake at 400 for about 20-30 minutes :)

I grew up with a father as a painter. He would paint my bedroom on a whim and we were lucky enough to have him paint our new place. I am NOT allowed to paint. I do manage to walk into wet paint no matter what.

Good luck!

I am a TERRIBLE painter. Let's see, the first time I was allowed to paint my room I was 13 and could only afford one can of paint. So I only put on one coat of this dark blue colour. I made it better by claiming I "meant" it to be like that and it was supposed to be like ocean waves. Pffft!

The stir fry looks so good. I almost made stir fry last night actually. Not sure if I'd call myself a good painter, but I have painted a lot!

I painted my room when I was a teenager, but I haven't done any painting since then.

I do, however enjoy painting art - as in, on canvas!

I think it would be a disaster if I tried to paint my own house, haha. I did help a friend paint the outside of hers once though, in the summer. Hard work!
