The Bride Wore Blue

M

y good friends got married on Saturday, and the day could not have been more perfect.

Saturday while getting ready for my friends' wedding I had a Teen Burger from A&W.

The wedding ceremony was outside, and it was absolutely beautiful!

The bride wore blue. She looked lovely:

The food was fantastic (ribs, chicken, potatoes, corn, bun):

The beer and wine was great! (I had some of each throughout the night).

The first dance was to a song I had never heard before, but I instantly LOVED! The song was called Paris 2004 - it suited the couple perfectly.

CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS AND CORI!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning we went to the wedding luncheon/ gift opening. I had a bun with meat and cheese, and a lemon square. I also had some punch and a beer. Dinner this evening was roast pork with apple sauce, a stuffed baked potato, carrots, and bruschetta. I had some fruit for dessert:

I only have 2 weeks left with my students before they go on to high school - it will be a fun 10 days :-) In 12 days I will be done work for the summer! I cannot believe how fast this school year has gone by.

If you had the summer off how would you spend your days?

I love the brides dress...she looks lovely :) SOunds like a great day!!

I have the summer *partially off* meaning..I I will only be going into work for 8 hours a week...BUT...at home I will be logging in over 20 hours or more of homework per week for school lol. I will have more time off then any other summer previously, I think I will enjoy getting up and not having to rush off to work and perhaps taking a long walk each morning! Not too exciting :P

Congrats to your friends! I'd be golfing all summer!

If I had the summer off, I think I'd spend it with family/friends and lots of time at the beach!

That first piccy with the two dancing and the little bubbles floating around is perfect. I hope you sent it to them too.

= )

Food on paper plates? THAT's my kind of wedding. I love the low-key weddings.

Your cupcake pops match her colours perfectly!

why did the bride decide to wear blue! BTW your summers start so late! IN the states, summer begins in late may! When does school start again?

Aww what a beautiful wedding! It looks like the couple are so in love-I LOVE seeing happiness like that! If I had the summer off, I know I'd spend the first half of it parked on the couch vegging. Sad, I know!

Aww the wedding looks perfect! I love people who are original! For summers off, I would spend it either at the beach or the river...all the time! I love the river/rafting, so that would be my first choice!

I really don't know what I would do!! I think having two full months off would be too much for me. What do you do?? Haha!

That wedding looks so intimate and fun! I LOVE that she wore blue!
