Mouth Watering Monday

I was up early today - before 6:00 a.m..  I toasted up some homemade bread for the best toast ever, and enjoyed that while reading blogs.

Then I got to work on a lovely peach pie for my sweetie pie.

It was a bit of a cooler day, so I made a pot of clam chowder soup for lunch.  When Christopher came home we enjoyed it with cheesy bread.

We BBQd rack of lamb, potatoes with mint and feta, and portobello mushrooms for dinner.

It was the perfect dinner for the gloomy, cool evening.

For dessert ... peach pie of course!

How was your Monday?  Has it cooled off where you live?

It is cool here, too! It feels like late September, not mid-August! Yesterday was definitely a soup day so I was glad that I had some leftover chili to eat for lunch. And then it rained hard during the run with my run club so I was sooo ready to be done when it was over.

What a delicious day of food! It did cool down in Edmonton, which is fine by me cause I hate the heat.
