Happy Halloween

We've been eating a lot of leftover ham around these parts ...

I took a break from the ham yesterday at lunch and went with a coworker to enjoy the buffet at Flavours of India.  They make some of the best samosas I have ever had.  I think I am obsessed with Indian food.

I am also pretty into oatmeal with delicious toppings, as I am sure you already know.

I made my oatmeal today with unsweetened chocolate almond milk, and topped it with strawberries, coconut, almond butter and chia seeds.

Off to hand out candy, eat pizza and watch scary movies - Happy Halloween everyone!

What do you/did you eat for dinner on Halloween?
Are you/did you hand out candy?

I am giving the kids Old Dutch popcorn twists,  chocolate, fuzzy peaches and lollipops!

I am eating a boring meal - a salad and a baked potato. Typical night for me! I live in a high rise condo building in downtown Minneapolis, so I don't get trick or treaters. I wish I did though as I love seeing kids in their costumes!

Okay that Indian food reminded me (again) that we need to have a lunch/ dinner date. How about next Monday night. Then I'm not rushed for time. Your pick, my treat!

I'm obsessed with Indian food.

I had English muffin pizzas last night. Boring, haha.

We live in an apartment building in an "up and coming" part of the city so... no kids really showed up.

Mmm, it's been a while since I've had anything awesome and breakfasty like that. I kinda missed out on the whole Halloween thing since I was at work - not really working, of course, since most of my students didn't end up showing up (can't blame 'em). So I had a good night of playing Final Fantasy music, ha ha. :) Hope you had fun!

How does your oatmeal always look so much more appetizing than MY oatmeal (which always looks like sticky mush)??
