I am currently at my favourite campground (Clear Lake, Manitoba), camping with about 10 of my closest friends. More specifically, I am currently sitting at a table here:
This is the Internet cafe, bookstore, clothing store, called The Gorge.
After this post I will be heading back to the campsite:
Probably to sit around the fire, but possibly to play bumper hammocks in what we like to call "Hammock-ville".
Or maybe I will cook something up in our handy cooking area:
Or sip a drink which I might keep in a make-shift, duct tape drink holder:
Whatever I choose to do at the campsite, it will be awesome. Because camping is awesome. And by awesome, I mean super awesome.
My breakfasts have been almost as good as those cooked at home.

My week has been pretty good so far. It's going fast which is good as I am already ready for the weekend, even though it's only Tuesday!
Funnn! I love that their is 10 of you all camping together! I just went camping last weekend (and blogged about it today) and had SO MUCH FUN. It was a lot of work for 2 nights though so next time we're going for 4-5 nights!
I love camping but didn't go at all this summer because I didn't think to reserve a place in advance. Such a bummer.
I'm so envious, can't believe I've only made it out to the lake once this year! Summer's always a crazy whirlwind. And given the whole camping thing, those are some damn fine meals! It's been years since I've actually camped (and not just cheated by staying in a cabin). Maybe next year!
