Neeeeeeed Sleeeeeeeep!

I haven't slept well all week.  Brutal.

Luckily my eats have been pretty yummy ...

Cranberry Coconut Oats
Veggie Pita Pizza
Chicken Cordon Bleu with Basmati rice and a mixture of cilantro, tomato, lime and jalapeno
I had some chamomile tea and am now going to read a chapter of fiction hoping it takes my mind into dreamland and helps me to fall asleep.

What kinds of things do you do to get yourself to sleep when you are having trouble?
What are your plans for the weekend?

oh no! I hope you get some much needed rest! I drink decaf tea and get in bed super early with a book- that usually helps me doze off okay.

I was having the worst sleepless nights ever over the holidays... I went to the vitamin store and bought melatonin, which is supposed to help, and omg did it ever!

Every single thing pictured looks delicious! One thing that really helps me fall asleep is using a few spritzes of the lavender-chamomile aromatherapy spray from Bath & Body Works. I also make sure to put on night cream and lip balm with a lavender scent. Maybe it's in my mind, but it's SO soothing. =)

Yoga, chamomile tea, studying (haha!), a relaxation track (deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and imagery) I have on my iPod all help me. And, if all else fails and I'm desperate (i.e., haven't slept well for a few nights), Benadryl.

My plans for the weekend: studying and staying warm :)

I take melatonin! I struggled with sleeping, so melatonin is my best friend. :) I hope you start sleeping better soon. Being sleep deprived is the worst!
