10 on Tuesday: Movie Edition

I am a HUGE movie buff, and the hubby and I go to and rent a lot of movies.

We have been known to leave a movie theater, and then get back in line for another show.

1. If you could watch only one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Home Alone.

2. Let’s say someone wrote a screenplay about you; what actor/actress would you choose to play you and why?  No idea - what do you guys think!?

3. What’s the first movie you remember seeing in theaters? I think it was "The Little Mermaid."

4. Did you ever make out at the back of a movie theater in middle school/high school? Nope.

5. Are you a Netflix-er, Blockbuster-er or a Redbox-er? (Or none of the above?)
Blockbuster.  I like actually going to a movie store to pick out something to rent.

6. Name one actor/actress who you would give anything to have a dinner date with.
Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie.

7. What’s the worst movie you’ve ever seen?
"In Dreams."  Walked out of the theater.

8. Do you sneak snacks into the theater when you go?
If I remember, then I will sneak a bottled water in.

9. Movie theater popcorn: love or hate it?
I love it with extra topping!

10. What is the all-time best Disney movie in your opinion?
The Little Mermaid.

What are your answers to some or all of the questions above?

Ahhh, this is easy since I just walked in the door from the theatre!

I don't think I ever made out in a theatre - kinda hard to do in a small town where everyone would recognize you!

I think the worst movie I ever saw in the theatre was Lord of the Rings... I got talked into going it was so not my scene!

And for the record, I snuck water in tonight :-)

I didn't get to go to the movie theater for movies as a kid, but I really don't remember the very first movie, even though I should. :p

FUN! I use to make out in the theatre ALL the time... in like 6th grade! Ha ha!! Kind of embarrassing to admit that though...

I agree wit Johnny Depp, but I bet that would make for a strange dinner date... he strikes me as 'Odd' in the most beautiful way!

Actress to play you: Ginnifer Goodwin FOR SURE. You sort of look like her and you most definitely remind me of her.
p.s. Jeff also has a huge crush on her.

omigosh, I'm a movie lover and might steal this idea from you and post it soon! I love movie popcorn with topping, have a new love of Netflix on my PS3, worst movie ever was Furry Vengeance (I have kids, what can I say), actor to play you: Anna Paquin with dark hair (except she'd have to have that diastema fixed - that space between her teeth - haha).

I dnot know why, but my initial thought for an actress to play you was Emily Blunt...

I do not remember the last time I actually went to a Blockbuster to pick out a movie. I bet it's been like 3+ years!!

I LOVE these kinda things!!
Ok here is mine!

1. If you could watch only one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Notebook

2. Let’s say someone wrote a screenplay about you; what actor/actress would you choose to play you and why? Jenny Garth, I know that's weird, but I am a 31 year old stuck in a 15 year old's 90210 loving body! Or Maybe Drew Barrymore!

3. What’s the first movie you remember seeing in theaters? No idea, but I remember I saw the movie "baby" about the baby dinosaur at the outdoor theater for the first time.

4. Did you ever make out at the back of a movie theater in middle school/high school? Nope, me either.

5. Are you a Netflix-er, Blockbuster-er or a Redbox-er? (Or none of the above?)
iTunes (er)...?

6. Name one actor/actress who you would give anything to have a dinner date with.
Meh... totally not star struck.

7. What’s the worst movie you’ve ever seen? I have seen many that I feel like I just wasted 2 hours of my life. Dave likes wacky movies!

8. Do you sneak snacks into the theater when you go?
Sometimes, but I love popcorn... and they don't use butter unless you ask them! (at least my theater doesn't)

9. Movie theater popcorn: LOVE!

10. What is the all-time best Disney movie in your opinion?
The Little Mermaid - agreed, it's magical!

I actually didn't mind 'In Dreams'. For me, the worst was 'The 25th Hour'...I couldn't bear it for some reason! And for some reason, movie popcorn (the smell) gives me a headache, so I usually go to small indie theatre that don't sell popcorn...

I LOVE this! Can I steal it for a blog post??

Love Home Alone :) I haven't been to a video store in forever! But gosh - I totally know what you mean - I used to love poring over what to rent for a weekend night and getting candy ;)

I could watch "National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation" over and over for sure.

I love 10 on Tuesday posts!

Here are my answers:

1) Under the Tuscan Sun
2)Hmmm...this is a hard one. Probably Natalie Portman because she is such an amazing, smart, and respected actress.
3)I have absolutely no idea.
4)First kiss baby! So classy.
5)Blockbuster and Sasktel Max. I prefer going to the movie store and browsing through all of them though.
6)Johnny Depp good one! I would say him or Sarah Jessica Parker.
7)Ransom. I hate movies where the premise surrounds violence and children. That is not entertainment to me.
8)No....I like to get them at the theatre.
9)Love it with Dill seasoning!
10)The Little Mermaid. Hands-down No Contest!
