We then played at our house for a while before heading out for sushi.
His favourite roll is the one with the most fish eggs! I've said it before, and I'll say it again ... he's not your average kid!
He made us laugh a lot in between dishes, as he drew silly pictures with hilarious captions. He's a talented drawer. It was so cute to see he and Christopher make each other laugh.

Aw, what a fun birthday celebration! I can not believe that he is 8 already, though! I remember reading about your adventures with him when he was so little! That is great that you guys got to spend the day with him to celebrate. And I love that he loves sushi! This post is inspiring me to plan a weekend date with my nephews!
