Images from Vegas (Dining)

Craftsteak in MGM (I forgot a picture of the steak!)

Lotus of Siam (off the strip; best Thai food outside of Thailand)

I was shocked by how cheap our meal was at Lotus of Siam, even with Sake and other beverages.  This restaurant is a must-do if you are in Vegas, and it is worth the $15 cab ride.  I think the entire bill was around $40, and that included an appetizer and 3 entree sized dishes.  You can choose how spicy you want your food from 1-10.  We got a 6, which was a little too spicy for my liking.  A four would have been perfect for me (and I like spicy food).

Do you like spicy food?  If a restaurant offered spice levels from 1-10 (arbitrary clearly), which would you choose?

Love spicy food! I've only been to Vegas once, but my hubby hasn't so I'm assuming we'll be back!

Wow! Looks incredible! Especially the thai food! We found a sushi place like that there too - no idea what it was called - but we basically ordered 1 of everything on the menu and it came to under $100 for about 8 of us!!

Yum! That thai food looks amazing! I would have probably ordered a 6, too. I really like spicy food but don't like that 'my mouth is on fire' feeling.

That place sounds awesome, and I'd probably be able to get a decent vegan meal there too! I like spicy food quite a bit, but the 1-10 scale would have freaked me right out so I probably would have just said '5', ha ha!
