On Friday these two crazy kids are getting married. I am so excited for my sister Leah, her fiance Sal, and their little guy Giovanni.
I love wedding music, and I think my sister made some great choices.

Great songs!
What a sweet family ;) Congrats to them.
We had all kinds of music at our wedding- Canon in D was the song for my processional and I still kinda love it. For our party songs we played a lot of dance music/hip hop/Russian pop. Our first dance was to Lucky by Jason Mraz.
Oh man, "to Make You Feel My Love" is one of my favorites. I cry everytime!
We used Muse-Twilight, Explosions in the Sky-Your Hand in Mine and Jimmy Eat World-For me this is heaven
TOTALLY just starred this post to come back to next year when we are picking out wedding music.
So far I think I'm going to walk down the aisle to Feels like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk (sp?) and then I think our first dance will be to 'Then' by Brad Paisley (we are HUGE country fans).
That all being said, A LOT could change in a year so who knows :-)
Do you have to pick a different song for all those different things at the ceremony? I was planning on having my bridesmaids walk down to the beginning of Feels like Home and time my walk to the chorus!!
I know nothing about this stuff...
How exciting!! I love weddings - and wedding music.
When/if i get married, I will walk down the aisle to a song that my aunt actually wrote. It's a beautiful song played on the piano. And it's amazing that she wrote it! Besides that, I am not sure. I used to think my first dance with my husband would be "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds, but we'll see. I guess it depends on the guy I marry! And then for Father/Daughter I definitley want to dance to "Fathers and Daughters" by Paul Simon. Love that song!
ENjoy the wedding!!!!
Congrats to a sweet family!
The song that we danced too was Always and Forever by Shania Twain. It was a great song back then :)
Sounds beautiful! I walked up the aisle to Cannon in D - just like I imagined when I was a little girl. The last song they played at our reception was "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day. It was awesome.
Looooove that song by Train.
I love the song Home by Chantal Kreviaziuk for a wedding song. At the wedding I was at last weekend the bridesmaids came out to Bittersweet Symphony (intrumentation only). and the bride came out to Moon River which is a dream of mine:)
They picked beautiful music! I'd probably love something by Ray Lamontagne or David Gray...
Our wedding song was Always by Atlantic Starr, which is totally a cheesy 80's song.
Hope the thundershowers stay away tomorrow. Have fun!
Beautiful choices! I actually have always imagined walking down the aisle to my uncle (he's an AMAZING piano player) playing "here comes the sun"
i walked down the aisle to beatles "blackbird", we walked out of ceremony to beatles "all you need is love", and we danced to ben folds "luckiest" :) have fun! Can't wait to see all the pictures!
beautiful music..I love marry me by Train...makes me tear up! Congratz to the couple!
OMG, can't believe a few people mentioned Feels Like Home by CK - that's what my hubby and I walked down the aisle to! Our dance song was At Last by Etta James (we eloped so we had our dance in our living room when we got home!)
