Raining Weather Eating

It has been gloomy and dreary outside the last couple of days ... but inside, all is good.

My girlfriend Shauna invited me at the last minute this evening to come over for some tiki masala.  There was no way I was turning that down!  Her roommate Alan made it, and I happily devoured this plate full.

Yesterday I was also treated to a homemade sushi dinner.  Mmmmmm!  Enjoyed with some kimchi, tea, smoked oysters and mandoo, it was the perfect dinner for a raining evening inside.

The BBQ can wait.  I am enjoying this rainy weather eating.

Do you ever have dinner with friends during the week?  Is it raining where you are?

I rarely have dinner with friends during the week, unless we plan it weeks in advance! It is raining where I am, too. We had a huge storm last night and now it's raining again today.

I tend to have dinner with friends during the week a couple of times a month. It stresses me out sometimes because I like to stick to a routine during the week, but it always ends up being a blast.

Mmm, I love getting food made for me. :) Just yesterday I was spoiled with the simple but incredibly awesome meal of toast, hummus, tomato, and avocado, topped with a sprinkle of salt and pepper. I could live off that, for real.

Sushi nights are the best! I should throw one for myself someday in the near future. :) Kimchee....

Yum! I need to make some more friends like yours. All of the meal look delicious.

I've always just had the habit of coming home and crashing during the week after my commute and evening activities so I never plan much during the week.

It's all rainy and dreary here, too! I got caught soaking wet in the rain, but I loved it after 12 hours of class.
