Nonstop

Like the energizer exhausted bunny, I have been going all day.
I have not had one second to myself to just relax, and I am in desperate need of some me time!

I fueled for my long day with a green monster and a glo-bar, and then headed to work.

I ran around at lunch, nearly spilling leftover soup on myself as I tried to eat while busy.

After work I coached a b-ball game, then rushed home to make supper.
I needed something quick and easy as I still had a whole evening of work ahead of me.

Dinner was quinoa mixed with black beans, and then topped with a ridiculous amount of pico de gallo (tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime).

After a 10 minute dinner, I worked in the kitchen making cake pops for my nephew to take to school to share with his friends on his birthday.

After 2 hours of that, I did homework for 2 hours.

I am wiped.

Only one thing keeping me going now ...

Quality control :-)

How is your week going so far?

Wow..your day sounds much like mine when I have meetings, extra curriculars and planning for work all in one day..and try to get in a workout? All I want to do is crash on the couch... sounds like you had a productive day though. Good job.

Adorable little cake nuggets!!

University was cancelled today due to extreme temperatures. This would be a good thing but I was stuck in my room the entire day! I'm actually looking forward to classes tomorrow :)

You are go-go-go but you still manage to put effort into making a nutritious, tasty-looking meal. That's something to brag about in itself! Oh, and I cannot BELIEVE how many things from my list you've accomplished! I'm in awe!

My week has been insane, but dealing with it.. Weather related :)

You always cook some amazing dishes even when you're exhausted... You really are the energizer bunny!

Yum, the quinoa dish looks yummy - esp the pico de gallo on top! Yum. I haven't had quinoa in such a long time!

My week is going well, but it's been super duper busy!

omg. get those cakeballs in the mail and send them to me ASAP. Anyways, this week is SADDD. It's cold and TExas can't handle 20 degree weather so everyone's power keeps going out!!

My week has been not go great. Had a full-blown migraine Sunday and Monday and have been trying to not trigger another one since then. Too much homework, not enough time for the kids. I'm actually about to go back to bed this morning because I'm so tired and I've got a (non-migraine) headache.

Sounds like you've been going hard! I guess some weeks are just like that. I haven't tried making cake pops yet, but one day. :)

I am definitely go go go this week! I was hoping to take it easy because I'm still on the mend, but apparently, I don't have a "take it easy" setting...

Quality control is my biggest nemesis - and yet I always partake ;)

You've had some great meals lately!

And so busy - what's keeping you so busy?? Also - what are those GLO bars like ? Like granola bars...?
