Creamy White Chicken Chili

I

have been loving sandwiches lately.  I had one for lunch on Wednesday and Thursday (turkey, gruyere, pickle, banana peppers, mustard).  I also had some strawberries on Thursday, and a clementineThursday evening I finally made Jenna's Creamy White Chicken Chili (which turned out more like a soup - bonus!)

The recipe is very easy, and it has a lot of flavour.

 (brown an onion)

 (add garlic)

 (add chicken broth)

 (add white beans)

 (spices)

(chopped green chilies)

Stir in a chopped cooked chicken breast, some 1/2 and 1/2 and sour cream.  Top with cheese and pepper.

Thursday evening I had a skinny, 1/2 sweet pumpkin spice latte.

Friday mornings breakfast was cinnamon toast, and yogurt with chia seeds, hemp seeds, 1 tsp PB, and 1 T quick oats:

I went out for lunch with friends from work, and had 1/2 of an order of Pad Thai.  Later on Friday evening I enjoyed a pint of Guinness, and some Bee Bim Bop.  The hubby and I then went out to see "Social Network" and we shared a popcorn.  I REALLY liked this movie.  It was interesting, and entertaining.

The hubby made pancakes for breakfast this morning!  I had 2 with some real maple syrup for dipping.
My dad took me out for lunch where I had chicken and sweet potato fries.

This evening I am going out for a nice dinner with the girls!!!!  We are getting dolled up, and going out to a place called "The Crushed Grape."  After dinner, we will meet up with the boys :-)

How often do you get dressed up?
Do you like getting dressed up to go out?

Not one to get dressed up, I prefer casual!

i haven't been blogging much cause all I do is eat sandwiches and easy food! Living alone lately does not make a foodie make! Anywyas social network was sooo freaking good! Have fun with your friends! I dont like dressing up all the time cause i'm lazy and my feet hurt but for a nice date night? heck yes! bring it on!

The chili looks amazing!! We dont go out much, because we dont have anyone to go out with lol. We try and go on dates by ourselves once a month, but it usually isnt a dress up date. Just something simple. I do love getting dressed up though :)

Yum, that chili looks so good. I absolutely love meals like that as they are so good as leftovers. I am so glad soup/chili/stew season is upon us!

I don't get dressed up to go out all that often, but when I do, I really enjoy it! I hope you had a fun night with the girls!

I'm all about getting dressed up to go it. Lately I've been wearing yoga pants to work (running after spit-uppy kids isn't really conducive to heels and dresses) and I've felt like such a bum...I'm actually looking for opportunities to get dressed up nicely and feel sexy for a bit!

First Jenna, now you. I need to make that chili!

When I lived in Calgary and had all of my college friends, we got dressed up and went out almost every weekend. Now I think it's been a few months... yikes!

And yes, I am a weirdo who likes my cookies overcooked and crunchy :-)

Hahaha my idea of "dressing up" is to put on a nice pair of jeans.
